To Do List

I found out on the weekend that mushroom compost can contain fungicides that are bad for worms and beneficial bacteria, will probably invest in a few bags of potting mix instead.
I have more sleeper segments which will almost finish my little "wall", however I have to wait for the beetroots to finish before I can put them in
I have a few weeks to prepare the area for the passionfruit, must visit the nursery in a week or so to check stocks.



- tend to the front beds, feed n weed
- move the comfrey
- plant in the new herbs
- prep passionfruit area
- check nursery for decent potting mix for beds, passionfruit, seed raising mix
- clean out  pots, and tools maintenance

Just a few photos of the work underway in the back garden, the new plants have arrived for the front beds but I wont put them out until the icy weather breaks, i have 3 lavenders, 2 rosemary, marjoram, thyme and a tea bush to go in
the blueberries are currently budding up beautifully, the entire front beds need a tidy and feed and i have to move the comfrey to just past the beetroots shown above
lots outstanding but the work is progressing.
need to research passionfruits, buy some seed raising mix, and wash out last years pots

In the past few days I have managed to sneak in some gardentime

The new bed areas are all turned
the planted beds are pretty much weed free
Jasmine almost under control

My seeds arrived today and I have been pondering my planting plan
I have some railway sleepers arriving soon & will over fill with mushroom compost
